What began with an identity quickly accelerated into a full branding and marketing campaign to launch this new consumer battery at CES. Within just three weeks i&D developed a unique press release promotional kit, a package design, sales materials and an ad campaign to introduce the extreme power of Oxyride to the industry.

i&D continued to grow the campaign by designing POP displays, online advertising, a website, Times Square promotional animations, even an interactive 'Race & Win' game - inspired by a speedster capable of propelling its passenger over a mile with just two AA Oxyide batteries - to promote the extreme power of Oxyride batteries to the industry and target demographic.

With a chance to win Panasonic consumer electronics, players virtually loaded two AA Oxyrides into their speedster before racing around the branded track collecting points and battery performance information with each lap.

An internal launch converted employees into buzz-agents for this new product with an exciting event held at Panasonic's corporate headquarters. Oxyride-branded T-shirts, sports bags and frisbee give-a ways built excitement amongst employees. A modified version of the Race & Win game played on giant displays at the internal event, awarded Panasonic employees bonus prizes for running over the Energizer Bunny! This award-winning launch led to accounts with Target, Six Flags and Duane Reade.
